It is estimated that 60% of the 5 million Americans living with the disease will unknowingly wonder off from home, putting them at risk, and leaving their families worried. Kenneth spends a lot of time with his grandfather, and he wanted to invent something that keeps him safe. An internship at the Alzheimer’s Association provided the opportunity to test the sensor this eager teen has invented.

In the United States there is an average of 60 million people providing care to disabled individuals.
